Equipment which can be transported onshore for inspection, service and repair or new equipment is either coated at our workshops or in cooperation with another subcontractor.<\/p>\n<p>For structures, ISO 12944 industrial coating is often used. We differentiate between below and above the waterline. Below the waterline, we use strong epoxy coatings, and in the splash zone, we use the even stronger, typically glass reinforced polyesters. Above the waterline, we often use coating according to C5M or CX, typically a zinc-rich epoxy and a UV-resistant top coat, with a total layer thickness of at least 300 micrometres.<\/p>\n<p>For internal coating of production facilities, we often use ceramic coating, as the corrosive and chemical stress is high.
